The Friends of Camarena Memorial Library is a volunteer service group which acts as a liaison to communicate the needs of the community to the library and to the operations of the library to the community.
The Friends promote public support and use of the library, also inform members and the public of issues affecting the library.
The Friends provide financial assistance to the library's collections and programs. They raise funds for library materials and equipment not supplied by normal budget resources.
Friends believe that a good library is important to the community.

- Express your support for the library everywhere!
- Attend meetings
- Express your support when speaking to the City Council to protect the Library budget
- Pay membership dues
- Work on special projects, such as book sales, informational booths at fairs, book drives, and other special projects that may be planned
